How to get 450+ score in Express Entry | Canada Immigration

For many applicants who are desperate to improve their score in Express Entry, they need to remember that IELTS score is the prime 'KEY' to succeed. You cannot hide your age, get rid of spouse (perhaps should never think of that) and improving your education is not also an imminent decision.

So, the only thing that you can improve in short period of time is your IELTS score. Those, who have not even applied for Express Entry (EE) and wish to do so in future, please prepare best for the language exam i.e. IELTS.

Why IELTS is Important?
Break up of how Canada Immigration points calculator CRS works is explained with two different scenarios below. Refer to Scenario 1 and Scenario 2.

Disclaimer It was not possible for me to consider every scenario, that is why selected two cases as model for explanation.

Assumptions  (1) AGE = 25 to 30 years,

(2) Marital Status = Married,

(3) Education = Two or more certificates or diploma,

(4) Spouse Education = Bachelor

(5) Work Experience = 3 years

(6) Provincial Nomination = None

(7) Job Offer = None

The only remaining factor is IELTS that will determine your fate for Canadian Immigration or Permanent Residency.

Scenario-1
Let say your IELTS score is Speaking = 7, Listening = 7.5, Reading = 7-7.5, Writing =7

Your CLB is = 8 {Convert IELTS score into CLB}

Spouse IELTS results were Speaking = 7, Listening = 6-7, Reading = 6.5, Writing =7.5-9.0

Result-1

Check your score for EE = 397

Scenario-2
