As a Manager you will:
Manage a diverse team of resources to deliver a variety of IT audit needs to our clients
Oversee all phases of the audit delivery process (planning, execution & reporting)
Lead proposal writing and business development efforts to build and generate IT assurance business for the practice
Interact with a network of senior IT and Accounting/Finance practitioners within our client organizations (e.g. Chief Audit Executives, Chief Information Officers, Chief Information Security Officers, etc…)
Interact with an internal network of Financial Auditors for different audit clients.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously;
Provide strategic advice and guidance on matters of risk management, internal controls, governance, etc.
Analyze and diagnose client business issues to develop and recommend creative solutions.
Manage a diverse team of talented consultants and senior consultants while coaching them to their highest potential.
Assist in building consensus with client management while understanding and communicating client expectations to the project team. Throughout projects, you will accept and manage complexity in projects and guide teams in dealing effectively with change barriers and project constraints.
Employ a structured approach to project management to ensure complete client satisfaction and project profitability
Participate in the development and delivery of training programs
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business and/or other related major
Post graduate degree and/or a professional designation are an asset such as CPA, CRISC, CISA, CISSP, PMP, CAPM, or ITILv3 Foundations
6+ years of IT experience in various areas such as Financial Audit, Internal Audit, IT Audit, Controls Assurance, IT Governance, Business Process Controls, Risk Management and related standards
Previous Big 4 experience in business development and building a practice an asset
Experience with SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, or Oracle Financials an asset
Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management accountabilities
Experienced in assessing internal control deficiencies and their impact on the risk of material misstatements.
Experienced with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations, project profitability and team leadership
Ability to anticipate the long term impact of all decisions and take a broad approach to problem solving
Execute a client service plan on complex engagements and work closely with the Partners in exceeding our client’s expectations while identifying and mitigating business risks associated with projects
Canadian travel required; occasional international travel. Candid
